DStv Commercial for Pubs & Clubs
Pubs and Clubs are classified as ANY VENUE THAT IS ACCESSABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
This includes any venue where access IS NOT RESTRICTED and a person can walk in off the street.
It must be noted that due to programming rights and the fact that we are not a public broadcaster, M Net, Movie Magic 1, Movie Magic 2, Action X and Canal + Horizons, ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE SHOWN IN “PUBLIC AREAS” under any circumstances whatsoever. (IE: Bars, restaurants, nightclubs, shops, etc).
Installation:
Only one decoder is normally used for each pub or club installation.
Pubs and Club subscribers now have the option of installing an HD PVR decoder so that they can view certain channels in high definition (if viewed on a high definition television and HD decoder).
The "Pubs and Clubs Premium Bouquet"
Pubs and Club subscribers must subscribe to the "Pubs and Clubs Premium Bouquet" of channels first, before they are able to subscribe to any of our “additional basic channel options”
The “Pubs and Clubs Premium Bouquet” consists of: SuperSport 1, SuperSport 2, SuperSport 3 Africa, SuperSport 5 Africa, SuperSport 4, 6 & 7 will also be available; CNBC Africa (business news), Al Jazeera (news in English), and either MTV or Channel O
